Which ISP Is AT&T's True Choice?

Recently there was a massive advertising campaign in The Wall Street
Journal that AT&T was hiring Internet account managers.

The ads talked about the great job opportunities available at the world's
leader in telecommunications, and described with fancy adjectives all of
the wonderous goals and achievements of what they call the world's best
Internet Service Provider.

Rather unusually, the ads stated that "Interested parties should send
resumes to: ngordon@ix.netcom.com"

Which begs the question: Which ISP is AT&T's True Choice?
